Outsourcing

Most organisations are increasing their use of HR outsourcing (HRO). Over the last five years, 20% of survey respondents report significant increases in HRO activity, with 44% reporting a slight increase. Only 11% have reduced their reliance on HRO.  According to the survey HR professionals view their current operating environment as turbulent and highly pressured. They most commonly cite the pressure to enhance efficiency (91%), a pressure to enhance quality (85%) and an increasing need to innovate (82%). Only 44% of those organisations that outsource other business functions also outsource HR.

Where an organisation is spending significant amounts of money on agency labour/recruit ment via multiple suppliers there is a very real opportunity to maximise performance and drive cost efficiencies. By outsourcing one element of HR (recruitment) and yet retaining communication between operations, HR and suppliers, the process can be managed ef fectively, which applies to all industry sectors and is evident within our client base.

Operating with a vendor neutral service provider allows all agencies to be measured on their performance and service rather than cost.
