Sense

Sense was established in 1955 as a support and self-help group for the parents of children whose disabilities were neither recognised nor provided for. Nowadays, Sense is a national charity and is the UK’s largest provider of services to those with hearing and sight impairments.

The Children's Society

The Children’s Society is a Christian charity committed to helping vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in England. They provide support to young carers, give a voice to disabled children and help young runaways rebuild their lives.

Scope

Founded in 1952, Scope is a UK disability charity for children and adults with cerebral palsy.

Scope employ over 3,500 staff (more than 20% of whom are people with a disability) and an annual turnover of around £100 million and continues to create independent living, education and employment opportunities for people with cerebral palsy and related impairments and to campaign for equality for all disabled people.

 

United Response

United Response provides a range of services for people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or physical disabilities.

The services they provide depend on each person they work with. They can provide 24-hour support for people with complex needs. They can job coach someone into work.  They can provide outreach support for someone with a mental health need or work with people to be in control of the support they choose. The key is that we work with each person to do the things they want to do, supporting them to communicate what they want and tell us how we are doing.

St Anne's

Established in 1971, St. Anne's is a major provider of social care services in Yorkshire and the North East. The charitable company has a reputation for providing high quality and innovative care and support to a range of vulnerable individuals. Four Seasons Health Care

Four Seasons Health Care is one of the largest independent providers of care services within the UK, owning and operating over 400 care centres and nursing homes and employing over 21,000 people.
