de Poel choose their 2012 charity

We’re delighted to announce that de Poel has chosen Mencap as our ‘charity of the year’ for 2012.

Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability, supporting people with learning disabilities, their families and carer’s.

de Poel has rapidly expanded this year, now having almost 100 employees on board, most of whom have already been involved with charities, whether it be a sponsored skydive or a 5k jog around the park. 

Collectively, we aim to make a huge difference and raise £20k for Mencap throughout the year.

There are 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK, and over 8 million people’s lives are affected.
