de Poel team face Grim Challenge for charity

A team from de Poel are gearing up to get thoroughly exhausted and covered in mud…all in the name of charity.

The Original Grim Challenge is an 8-mile off-road run at an Army all-terrain vehicle testing track. This year de Poel Projects Director, David East, Group Head of Sales, Peter Hounsham and Corporate Sales Manager, Graeme Elkin will taking part to raise money for Mencap.

The team are expecting mud, deep water fording, camouflage nets, hills, ravines, puddles the size of ponds and more mud during the event next month.

“We expect to get very wet and very, very muddy on this run although it will all be worth it with your support for a very deserving charity. This is somewhat of a departure from our normal daily suit attire so expect some interesting photographs at the finish!”
