de Poel CEO shortlisted for Entrepreneur award

This morning de Poel headquarters received some great news about our very own Chief Executive, Matthew Sanders. Matthew has been shortlisted as a regional finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year award 2012 and is one of 26 figureheads from North West companies.

Elaine O’Donnell, north west entrepreneur of the year leader at Ernst & Young, commented: “The finalists represent the current crop of business superstars who, despite a challenging economic environment, are propelling growth and innovation."

The ceremony will be taking place in Manchester on 26th June where Matthew will be up against finalists from across the North of England to win the regional title to then move onto the chance to become the national winner and titled Ernst & Young UK Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.

The award, which is run by Ernst & Young, has been recognising and celebrating entreprenership for over twenty years.
